With the full FIFA 15 game available in stores worldwide as of today, we have made a list of fixes and workarounds for some issues that you may encounter while trying to play the game!
Tips & Fixes for FIFA 15 PC
– Be sure to check out the FIFA 15 PC specs before running the game!
– Check and update your graphic card drivers: nVidia – AMD/ATI.
– If you experience lag use D3DOverrider and enable/force tripple buffering and vsync on FIFA 15 exe.
– Update your Direct X version if you encounter a crash related to it! Go here to find out how.
– If you controller buttons don’t work properly try to download these Xbox360 controller files and put them in your main FIFA 15 folder.
– For those with .NET Framework error please install the latest edition of it for Win 7 or 8 from here.
– Your graphic card must support Dirext X 11 in order to run the game!
– To fix the
– If you get the following message while installing the game, “VC++ runtime redistributable package was not installed successfully. Setup cannot continue.”, go to Origin Games\FIFA 15\__Installer\vc\vc2012Update3\redist and run the vcredist_x64.exe. You can return to your Origin library and install the demo.
– If you still have the .Net Framework error try to install this Repair Tool for it and run it!
– If the game crashes at the language page you need to re-install or activate Windows Media Player! Tutorial here. The intro can’t run without WMP, so the game crashes.
– FIFA 15 is currently unable to support special characters (such as àéñõü). If your PC name (or your Windows username) contains at least one of these characters, it will cause FIFA 15 to crash. We suggest you to rename your PC name or your Windows user name by following these two solutions.
– Still can’t start the game? Go to Documents and create the FIFA 15 folder and add these 2 files in it. You can tweak your own settings in the fifasetup.ini! Another solution is to create a Documents folder in your /C disk and target the files there. (Go to original documents folder, right-click, properties, target and select the new documents folder which you created in disk /C ).
– If your graphic card is weak for the game to start, download and run dxcpl.exe (go to start menu and type “dxcpl.exe”), go to Edit List…, add the fifa15.exe and fifaconfig.exe and click ok, set 11_0 at Feature Level Limit and tick Force WARP, click apply and ok. Note that the game will run very very slow!
– Make profiles for the demo on both nVidia and ATI graphic cards! For nVidia go to your graphic card control panel (right-click on desktop), go to Manage 3D Settings,Program Settings and add the FIFA 15 exe. For ATI download RadeonPro and make a profile with the FIFA 15 demo. If you experience heavy lag you can tweak settings on both profiles until you reach an optimal configuration for the demo to run smooth!
– If you get the 0xc000007b error download and copy these dll files in your Windows\System32 folder.
– If you have two graphic cards in your computer and the game won’t start please follow the next steps: 1) Run your graphic card control panel and add/make profiles for fifaconfig.exe and fifa15.exe! 2) Run regedit (Click on Start Menu and type regedit in the search box), now change value from 1 to 0 in these two keys:

– 16:10 monitor owners can fix the black bars bug by following this guide.
– FIFA 15 micro stuttering fix: Through nVidia/Catalyst control panel disable multithreading optimization, disable OpenGL Tripple Buffering and enable V-Sync for FIFA 15.
– Issues with sounds and commentaries? Try to run the game in stereo. You can set the sound to stereo by going into the settings of your audio control panel!
– If your players and gk run to stay in midfield during gameplay is because your PC name has four characters or less! Please rename your PC using more than five characters.
– Connection issues and gameplay lag can be a result from closed ports that the game needs in order to connect to the main server. Check your router and be sure to have the following network ports opened for: UDP: 3659; 9565; 9570; 9000 – 9999 and TCP: 3569; 9946; 9988; 10000 – 20000; 42124
– Unable to re-install FIFA 15 on PC after an interrupted installation? Go to C:\ Program Files(x86) \ Origin Games \ FIFA 15 and delete both _Installer and Core folders, now switch to the Origin client, right-click on the FIFA 15 game tile and select Repair game.
– Career Mode crashing issue can be fixed by changing your player and goalkeeper in arena mode!
– If your game freezes and crashes when loading a saved career, be sure to delete your Game Face and the saved career will load again!
– If you can’t download the game or the update from Origin because of the Operating System incompatibility error, just update your graphic card drivers, restart your PC and the download will start once Origin is opened.
Tips & Fixes for FIFA 15 Xbox 360
– If you’re experiencing freezing or the error “Disc Unreadable” on the Xbox 360, try clearing your cache. Instructions can be found in Step 3 of this article.
– For those with sound and music issues please change your sound settings to Stereo. Go to Settings and select System, now select Console Settings, then Audio and check Digital Stereo.
– If you experience in-game freezing while playing FIFA 15 try the next fix: Go to CUSTOMISE then ONLINE SETTINGS. Then go to PRIVACY SETTINGS and uncheck “Connect to your club in real life by sharing your account information and EAS FC progress subject to the club’s privacy policy.”
– Connection issues and gameplay lag can be a result from closed ports that the game needs in order to connect to the main server. Check your router and be sure to have the following network ports opened for: UDP: 53; 88; 3074; 3659 and TCP: 53; 80; 3074; 3659
Tips & Fixes for FIFA 15 Xbox One
– Connection issues and gameplay lag can be a result from closed ports that the game needs in order to connect to the main server. Check your router and be sure to have the following network ports opened for: UDP: 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3544, 3659, 4500 and TCP: 53; 80; 3074; 3659
– Career Mode crashing issue can be fixed by changing your player and goalkeeper in arena mode and by clearing your cache on your console.
– If your game freezes and crashes when loading a saved career, be sure to delete your Game Face and the saved career will load again!
Tips & Fixes for FIFA 15 PS3
– If you’re losing sound in FIFA 15 go to the Audio settings of your PS3 and chose AAC or ACC because the game does not handle 2 / 5.1 and 7.1 audio channels.
– Connection issues and gameplay lag can be a result from closed ports that the game needs in order to connect to the main server. Check your router and be sure to have the following network ports opened for: UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3658-3659, 5223, 6000 and TCP: 80, 443, 3659, 5223, 10000-10099, 42127
Tips & Fixes for FIFA 15 PS4
– Encounterd heavy lag on PS4? Try this workaround:
- Login to your router administration page.
- If you have any trouble finding this, please refer to your router manufacturer or router manual for more information.
- Look for “UPnP”, usually found under advanced settings.
- Turn off all UPnP functionality.
- Reboot your PS4.
- Restart your game.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try these steps:
- Start the game normally (connected to your main profile and online)
- From the main menu, switch to any other profile on your PlayStation 4, then get back into the game.
- While in-game, change the profile to the alternate you selected.
- Try going into Ultimate Team, and select yes to the prompt asking you to switch profiles.
- Press R3 to connect this profile online.
- Press and hold the PS button to log out of the console with your alternate profile
- Finally, connect back to the EA servers with your main profile.
You should no longer experience the lag and be able to play normally.

This doesn’t require access to your router but is temporary in the sense that it will last until you restart your PS4.
You will need a second profile set up on the console
1 – Start the game normally, connected to your main profile, connected to the internet.
2 – When you are on the main menu of the game, switch to any other profile on your ps4, get back in the game.
Hold the middle button and select switch user
3 – Now you need to change the profile in game to the profile you just switched to on the ps4, just go into ultimate team or something, it will ask you if you want to switch to the profile “…” , just say yes.
4 – After this press r3 to connect this profile to EASFC, and the lag should be gone.
5 -Keep the PS button pressed and log out of the ps4 with your dummy profile, connect back to EA servers with your main profile
6 – The lag will now be gone and you will be playing the game with your main profile.

Check your router and be sure to have the following network ports opened for: UDP: 3074, 3478-3479, 3659, 6000 and TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480, 3659, 10000-10099, 42127
– Career Mode crashing issue can be fixed by changing your player and goalkeeper in arena mode!
– If your game freezes and crashes when loading a saved career, be sure to delete your Game Face and the saved career will load again!
Web App Fixes & Workarounds
– If you get this page while accessing the web app change your desktop to a higher resolution!
– To access the FUT Web App you should make sure that you verify your login information.
– Make sure your Web App email address is linked to your Origin account.
– Did you get an unable to use purchased FIFA Points error in FUT 15 Web App? Make sure you log into Ultimate Team on the full game first.
– If your FUT 15 Web App account is locked then you need to reset you security question!

EA needs to fix some of the bugs carried from fifa14 as well… like once a while, in career mode, commentary audio is lost… the game was very quiet without commentary audio… also, the freezing …during game or in the menu… happens after playing for a while…

i have alot of problem in career mode. when playing the game, there is like a freeze and like screen breaks up for about a second. it keeps lagging and there is like a white and black screen crashing image. also my ball selection is stuck in EA Yellow ball for some reason. i could play the game with THIS BALL ONLY!!! it does not change in the game even though i switch the ball in the setting… and finally, i play liverpool in career mode, during a preseason gerrard got injured and he just disappered from the squad… cant find him anywhere now…

Ok, I dont know whether people know about this, but for people whose graphics are not good enough for good quality FIFA, There is a small solution to it.
1. Go to Documents
2. Go to FIFA 15 folder
3. Open fifasetup.ini
4. Change Rendering Quality from whatever number to 0
5. Save the file.
One drawback, however, the pitch wont look as great as normal, but you can play the game smoothly.

I have Fifa 15 on my origin account when I download and install from origin to my MONSTER notebook which has gtx765m graphics card, after start and EA logo it opens only a black screen and did not start. freezes computer. other games work fine and same game i mean fifa 15 Works great and runs at my desktop computer.

THIS IS WORKED FOR ME ON THE PS3:
I had been experiencing the lag on FIFA 15. Career mode is the
only one i play. I tried disconnecting (offline) from the net but the
lag persisted.
Here’s what i did and its worked (so far).
I did a factory reset on the PS3. i.e. switch off the PS3 and then hold
the power button till you hear the three (or two) beebs. You get a menu
to erase all data from the PS3. I went ahead and erased all the data.
I signed into my same old PSN profile. I reinstalled FIFA 15; and everything is working great.
I think the problem has something to do with the hard drive.

There is only one permanent way to fix this bug! Simply take your disc, snap it in half and throw the offending article in the bin, and stop giving EA money for a game that doesn’t work properly… fifa 13 14 15 and 16 now have all had these same career mode crashes which must be deliberate as no human being could possibly be that incompetent. I feel sorry for the people that don’t have Xbox live as there is no fix for them, which renders their games pretty much useless…

hi, i’m new to FIFA since u used to play PES and then people started saying why don’t u try FIFA it’s better than PES and bla bla bla.. So i decided to try it.
So i bought FIFA 16 and instlalled it on my sony vaio windows 7 64 bit, and when it finished installing, the game opened well, but, when i got to the messi loading screen, the game freezed, didn’t crash, nor it kept loading, just freezed.. i tried everything but it didn’t work.. any help?
