The first season pass is now live in FC 25 and those with early access can start grinding for the first rewards.
Season 1 introduces Total Rush, a season with new rewards, gameplay mechanics, and objectives. With the addition of Meta Seasons, players can now earn Season Points (SP) by completing tasks in Ultimate Team, Clubs, and Career Mode.
Meta Seasons and Expanded Progression
For the first time, Meta Seasons are available in FC 25, letting players earn SP across different modes. You can advance in Ultimate Team while playing Clubs or Career Mode, and vice versa, depending on your preference. This setup allows you to unlock mode-specific rewards without being forced to engage with modes you’re not interested in.
SP replace traditional XP, enabling progression across different modes. For example, completing objectives in Career Mode will unlock rewards specific to that mode while contributing to overall progress in the season’s ladder, creating a seamless experience for all types of players.
World Tour: Spain Takes the Spotlight
The World Tour player program debuts in Season 1, focusing on a specific country each season. Spain takes center stage, with objectives and player items themed around LaLiga, Liga F, and Spanish superstars. The One Nation Live Friendly mode will also give players the opportunity to flex their Spanish squads.
Notably, Adama Traoré’s World Tour card is one of the season’s standout rewards, available at 38,000 SP. His blazing pace and dribbling stats make him an unmissable addition for any Ultimate Team lineup.
Total Rush and the New Gameplay Experience
At the heart of Season 1 is the Total Rush Campaign, which introduces a new 5v5 small-sided game mode, focusing on teamwork and quick decision-making. Starting October 11, players can unlock unique Total Rush Player Items and experience a more dynamic form of football. EA will also spotlight notable personalities and their dream picks, adding a touch of star power to the campaign.
Objectives in Rush mode will be a major way to earn SP throughout the season. Expect to see new combinations of styles and player skills perfectly suited for this fast-paced, compact mode.
Evolution System
A key highlight of FC 25 is the Evolution System, which lets players upgrade specific player items by completing tailored objectives. In Season 1, there will be five stat-based Evolutions, including a Tutorial Evo to onboard new players to this feature. By evolving players, you can transform their base stats and appearance, offering a personalized twist to squad building.
Cosmetic Evolutions also make their debut, with the Season Ladder Excellence reward at Level 39, allowing players to customize the look of any item shell in their club with a bold purple design.
Total Rush Rewards
With 40 total rewards available throughout Season 1, players have plenty to aim for. The ladder features high-profile players, including Jude Bellingham (90 OVR, Real Madrid) and Lotta Schelin (90 OVR, Sweden Icon), although these come as loan items. However, for players grinding through the season, the true gems lie in the World Tour Adama Traoré card (88 OVR) and other exclusive player items.
Ultimate Team players can expect rewards like Rare Gold Player Packs, Squad Foundations items, and special Evolution Slots. Additionally, Player of the Month SBCs, Team of the Week 1, and Squad Foundations will provide even more opportunities to enhance your squad during the early weeks of the game.
