It has been a long wait – but the first World Cup promo in FUT 23 is finally LIVE. From Swap Tokens to Path to Glory, there’s a lot of content to cover and without further ado, let’s take a dive into what EA Sports has in store for us.

Path to Glory

To celebrate every nation‘s progress in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, EA is releasing LIVE Path to Glory cards. Each Path to Glory item will feature one player from each of the 32 nations that have qualified for the 2022 World Cup and will receive an upgrade every time their team advances through the tournament.

Let’s have a breakdown of the promotion’s upgrade path:

  • Qualify From Group Stages: +1 IF Upgrade
  • Win Round of 16: +1 IF Upgrade
  • Win Quarter Finals: 5* Weak Foot Upgrade
  • Win Semi Finals: 5* Skill Moves Upgrade
