EA Sports has officially dropped the Ultimate Team of the Season (TOTS) in FC 25, and it’s one of the biggest TOTS promos we’ve seen yet. With 60 players re-released into Ultimate Team packs and every card rated 94 or higher, the promotion is now live until Friday, June 13.
From the usual heavyweights like Messi and Mbappé to rising stars like Lamine Yamal, the Ultimate TOTS brings back standout performers from across the world of football with both men’s and women’s leagues included.
What is the Ultimate TOTS?
The Ultimate TOTS is a “best of” selection from all the previously released TOTS squads across major leagues and special teams. It’s essentially a final opportunity to pack the strongest players of the season before EA transitions to other promotions like Shapeshifters.
This year’s version includes no players rated below 94, which is a first for an Ultimate TOTS. In previous years, some lower-rated players diluted the pool, but this time around, the quality is consistently high.

Most of these players also feature four PlayStyle+ upgrades, making them some of the most effective options in-game. Even the lowest-rated cards still sit at 94 overall, making this one of the most stacked Ultimate TOTS selections to date.
Market Reaction and Meta Shifts
As expected, the release of Ultimate TOTS had an immediate impact on the FUT transfer market. Players that were re-released into packs like Raphinha, Retegui, and Kane saw sharp drops in price within the first hour.
Meanwhile, those who were left out of the promo, such as Florian Wirtz and Cole Palmer, actually spiked in value as FUT managers moved to invest elsewhere.
The market didn’t stay down for long. As players started opening saved packs and FUT Champs rewards came in, high-end cards like Lamine Yamal and Salah rebounded quickly.

Many of these cards also remain extremely valuable on the market. Messi is currently going for over 4.6 million coins, while Ronaldo, Dembélé, and Van Dijk are all trading above 3 million.
SBCs and Objectives to Watch
Alongside Ultimate TOTS, EA launched a new wave of Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and Objectives, including:
- End of an Era Kevin De Bruyne – A 96-rated card with four strong PlayStyles and outstanding passing stats.
- FC Pro Icon Robin van Persie – High shooting, five-star skills, and strong dribbling make him a versatile striker.
- Flashback Lauren James – 96-rated striker with Quick Step+ and Finesse Shot+, ideal for women’s squads.
Additionally, new Evolution upgrades were added, but community feedback so far suggests that they don’t quite match up to the power level of the Ultimate TOTS cards.
Weekend League Changes and Rewards
If you’re playing Weekend League, your red picks and rewards will now be based on Ultimate TOTS players only. That means every TOTS pick is guaranteed to come from this 60-player pool, offering a better chance at landing high-value cards.
There are also new Cups based on the MLS and Saudi Pro League, with rewards like:
- Five-game loan versions of Messi and Ronaldo
- TOTS Upgrade Evolutions
- 83×10 and 87×3 packs
Is This the End of TOTS?
The Ultimate TOTS promo marks the final chapter of the TOTS campaign, and it’s wrapping up in style. Once it ends on June 13, EA will move on to its next promo which most likely is Shapeshifters, which has already been teased through the Season 8 battle pass and Evolution system.
