This week’s news roundup post will cover all the news and updates regarding FIFA 16 for the past two weeks as we had to skip last week’s roundup due to internal issues.
The Community Week kicked off in FUT 16 this weekend and to celebrate this event all players received a free FUT Draft Token that can be claimed by logging to your account via web app or console until tomorrow evening.
Moreover, throughout the week, there will be a new tournament to play both in Online or Single-Player FUT. Special pack offers won’t miss as well, as there will be pack promos everyday, all week.
For the first time in FUT history, 19 new players were added to the FUT 16 database that weren’t present at the release of the game. The full list of players added are:
- Dimitar Berbatov – PAOK
- Yoann Gourcuff – Rennes
- Ron Vlaar – AZ Alkmaar
- Dieumerci Mbokani – Norwich City
- Younès Belhanda – Schalke 04

This is the result of more development work done over the past months by the EA Sports FIFA dev team and it will make this kind of updates possible in future FIFA games.
In addition to the new added players, more than 80 players had their skill status upgraded this weekend which includes players like Insigne, Aboubakar or Feghouli. Full list of skill upgrades can be seen here.
