FC 25 Euro 2025 Path to Glory Promo Explained

EA SPORTS has launched the Euro 2025 Path to Glory promo in FC 25 Ultimate Team, bringing a fresh round of dynamic cards just as the Women’s European Championship kicks off. This promo celebrates Europe’s top national teams by releasing live cards that can get stronger based on real-life performances, a familiar concept for regular players, but this time, the spotlight is fully on the women’s tournament.

Following on from the Fantasy FC event earlier this year, Path to Glory is the first live promo in months. And with Euro 2025 kicking off in Switzerland on July 5, these items have plenty of room to grow. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works and what to expect from this Ultimate Team campaign.

What Is Path to Glory in FC 25?

Path to Glory is a promo featuring players who are participating in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. These items aren’t static, they’re live cards, meaning they can receive multiple upgrades depending on how far the player’s national team progresses in the competition.

EA released a similar promo during the Men’s Euro 2024 in FC 24, which was widely considered one of the stronger events of that cycle. The format remains largely the same, with five specific upgrade conditions that make each card potentially very powerful by the end of the tournament.

Just like how some players hop into a quick round of baccarat on platforms like ufa between matches, these kinds of live promos give Ultimate Team that same sense of evolving stakes, where every match, or in this case every real-world result, can shift the value of your squad.

How Do Euro 2025 Path to Glory Upgrades Work?

Each card in the Path to Glory promo starts with a boosted base rating but has the potential to become significantly stronger. Upgrades are tied strictly to national team progress and not individual match performance. So even if a player doesn’t feature on the pitch, their card can still be upgraded as long as their country keeps winning.

Here’s the full upgrade path:

  • +1 OVR if the team scores three or more goals in the group stage
  • 5★ skill moves and 5★ weak foot, plus +1 alternate position and all Role++ traits, if the team reaches the quarter-finals
  • +1 PlayStyle+ if the team reaches the semi-finals
  • +1 OVR if the team reaches the final
  • 99 OVR and Icon Chemistry if the team wins the tournament

These upgrades apply to all Path to Glory items, regardless of their starting rating. That means a 95-rated card can end up reaching 99 OVR by the end of the tournament.

Euro 2025 Path to Glory Team

There are 15 players in the main Path to Glory squad, all available in packs until Friday, July 4 at 6pm UK time (1pm ET / 10am PT), just before Shapeshifters Team 4 takes over. Additional cards are also available through Squad Building Challenges (SBCs), Objectives, and the Season 8 ladder.

  • LM: Fridolina Rolfo (Barcelona and Sweden) – 96 OVR
  • RB: Giulia Gwinn (Bayern Munich and Germany)- 96 OVR
  • LM: Guro Reiten (Chelsea and Norway) – 96 OVR
  • CM: Grace Geyoro (Paris Saint-Germain and France) – 96 OVR
  • LW: Salma Paralluelo (Barcelona and Spain) – 96 OVR
  • CB: Irene Paredes (Barcelona and Spain) – 96 OVR
  • RW: Delphine Cascarino (San Diego Wave and France) – 96 OVR
  • ST: Pernille Harder (Bayern Munich and Denmark) – 96 OVR
  • ST: Sveindis Jane Jonsdottir (Angel City FC and Iceland) – 95 OVR
  • CDM: Janaina Minge (Wolfsburg and Germany) – 95 OVR
  • ST: Lea Schuller (Bayern Munich and Germany) – 95 OVR
  • ST: Vivianne Miedema (Manchester City and Netherlands) – 95 OVR
  • CAM: Ewelina Kamczyk (Fleury 91 and Poland) – 95 OVR
  • CB: Griedge Mbock (Paris Saint-Germain and France) – 95 OVR
  • CDM: Angharad James-Turner (Seattle Reign and Wales) – 95 OVR

Some of the top-rated items come from powerhouse nations like Spain, France, Germany, and England, teams considered favorites to go deep in Euro 2025. This means that their Path to Glory cards are not just high-rated to start with, but also likely to secure multiple upgrades throughout the tournament.

SBC and Objective Path to Glory Players

In addition to the 15 packable players, EA has released a few additional Path to Glory cards through Objectives and SBCs.

  • Sherida Spitse (CDM, Netherlands) is available via Objectives. To unlock her 94-rated card, players must complete four challenges, including winning matches and assisting goals. It’s a straightforward grind that expires on Friday, July 7.
  • Melvine Malard (LW, France) is available through a limited-time SBC. Her 96-rated card features excellent stats across the board and can be unlocked by submitting three squads: an 87-rated squad with a French player, an 88-rated squad with a Barclays WSL player, and an 89-rated squad with a TOTW or TOTS card. Total estimated cost: around 94k coins.

There’s also a Season 8 ladder reward at level 20, where you can pick one of two untradeable Path to Glory players: Paulina Dudek (CB, Poland) or Frida Maanum (CAM, Norway). This choice is available until Thursday, July 13, just before Season 9 begins.

How This Promo Fits into the Current FC 25 Cycle

The Path to Glory promo runs alongside Shapeshifters Team 3, which is currently in packs. While Shapeshifters focuses on drastic position changes and fantasy-themed boosts, Path to Glory is all about real-life tournament outcomes and gradual progression.

This promo is also another sign that EA is pushing to give women’s football more prominence in Ultimate Team, following the full integration of women’s clubs and players in FC 24.

It’s the first time a full Path to Glory campaign has been dedicated to a women’s international competition, and considering the caliber of players involved, it’s not just symbolic. These cards are strong, versatile, and potentially game-changing depending on upgrade paths.

Nations to Watch

If you’re looking to invest or build your squad with the most likely candidates for upgrades, some nations stand out as favorites:

  • Spain – Defending champions with players like Salma Paralluelo and Irene Paredes
  • France – Always strong in tournament play, with big names like Geyoro and Cascarino
  • Germany – Solid squad depth and stars like Giulia Gwinn and Janina Minge
  • England – Expected to challenge again, though currently without Path to Glory representation

Of course, tournament football can be unpredictable, and surprise semifinalists aren’t uncommon. Still, cards from these nations are likely to see the most movement in terms of upgrades.

Tracker and Updates

As matches are played and teams advance, all upgrades will be applied automatically in-game. EA has also made it easier to follow progress with a live Path to Glory tracker inside the Ultimate Team interface. For those managing clubs through the web app or companion app, upgrades usually roll out within 24 hours of official results.

This makes keeping an eye on Euro 2025 not just fun from a football perspective but also strategically important for Ultimate Team players.

The Euro 2025 Path to Glory promo is a well-timed and thoughtfully structured event that adds some depth to FC 25 Ultimate Team during the summer. With multiple upgrade tiers and dynamic boosts tied to one of the year’s biggest tournaments, it’s a great opportunity to build around players who may evolve as the action unfolds.
