Future Stars Return in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team

With the conclusion of Team Of The Year campaign, EA Sports announced the return of one of the most popular FUT promos in FIFA 23, the Future Stars.

This event celebrates wonderkids that are destined for greatness. The most talented youngsters in world football at this moment will feature in this special promo with boosted cards and stats that will give a new dimension to every FUT club out there. In short, young players with high Career Mode potentials will be available in FUT at their full potential.

Just like all previous campaigns, we will see themed Squads, Objectives, Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and a new Swaps Program! Scroll down to dive into all the details.

Future Stars Team 1

The first batch of Future Stars players include some standout names, such as Barcelona’s Gavi, Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez or Chelsea’s latest signing, Myhailo Mudryk. Here’s how the full team looks like:

All these players will be available in packs until next Friday, February 10 when the second Future Stars team will be released.

With each major event in FUT, EA Sports drops a new Swaps Program and Future Stars is no exception. Complete various Squad Building Challenges, Objectives or FUT Moments to unlock Future Stars Swaps Tokens that will allow you to redeem the following prizes:

  • 3 Future Stars Swaps Tokens — 1 Future Stars Team 1 Pack (1 player total)
  • 5 Future Stars Swaps Tokens — 1 Base ICON Gianfranco Zola
  • 10 Future Stars Swaps Tokens — 1 84+ X 20 Pack
  • 10 Future Stars Swaps Tokens — 1 Moments Coutinho
  • 15 Future Stars Swaps Tokens — 1 87+ Player Pick containing Winter Wildcards, Centurions, or Future Stars Team 1 Players (pick 1 player out of 5)

Future Stars Objectives & SBCs

This promo will feature a particular set of themed challenges, such as the Future Stars Academy Objectives and Future Stars Dual Potential SBCs.

The first Future Stars Academy Objective features Frankfurt’s midfielder, Jesper Lindstrøm. This Objective will allow you to earn up to four versions of a Future Stars Academy Player, with each Player Item upgrading one step towards their prime.

Here are the tasks you need to fulfil in-game to unlock Lindstrøm’s final 88 rated card:

  • Rising Stars: Score four goals using Danish players in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals).
  • Path to Success: Assist six goals using the 82 OVR Future Stars Lindstrom in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals).
  • Gaining Traction: Play eight matches in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) with the OVR Future Stars Lindstrom in your starting squad.
  • Bundesliga Wonder Boy: Assist four Through Balls using players from the Bundesliga in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) with the 84 OVR Lindstrom in your starting squad.
  • Trend Setter: Play 12 matches in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) with the 84 OVR Future Stars Lindstrom in your starting squad.
  • Made in Taastrup: Score and assist using Bundesliga midfielders in four separate Squad Battles matches on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) with the 86 OVR Lindstrom in your starting squad.
  • Goals for Frankfurt: Score at least two goals per match in six Squad Battles wins on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) using the 86 OVR Future Stars version of the Frankfurt midfielder.
  • Reliable Option: Play 15 matches in Squad Battles on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty (or Rivals) with the 86 OVR Future Stars Lindstrom in your starting squad
  • Brilliant 25: Play 25 matches with any version of the Future Stars Danish footballer in your starting squad.
