EA Releases EURO 2024 Update in FC 24

EA SPORTS has unveiled a major update for FC 24, named the Festival of Football Update, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the game.

This update, centered around the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024, introduces a brand-new game mode and several enhancements across various game modes.

UEFA EURO 2024 Game Mode

The UEFA EURO 2024 Game Mode is a standout addition, offering players an immersive and authentic football experience. This mode features:

• Authentic Matches: Play through final, semi-final, and group-stage matches in nine real-life stadiums, with the option to choose from any of the 24 qualified teams or other European national teams available in the game.
• Match of the Day: Stay updated with real-life tournament matches, which will be reflected in the game up to the final match.
• Official Tournament Mode: Enjoy the complete UEFA EURO 2024 experience with official stadiums, broadcast packages, match balls, and the coveted trophy.
• Custom Tournaments: Create and play custom tournaments with teams and players not present in the official lineup.
• Player and Avatar Customization: Lead your nation as an individual player or a custom Avatar, earning up to seven PlayStyles through training drills.

Online Friendlies and European Journey

The update also enhances the multiplayer experience:

• Online Friendlies: Compete with friends using any of the 24 qualified teams or other European squads in the game, with cross-play available for players on the same platform generation.
• European Journey: Complete challenges themed around UEFA EURO 2024 to earn rewards across different game modes, with a final reward unveiled after the tournament ends.

Additional Gameplay Enhancements

Title Update #15 introduces several new features aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience:

• New Skill Move: The Double Touch Lane Change, a 4-star skill move, adds a new layer of technical play.
• New Celebration: Inspired by Cole Palmer’s season at Chelsea, this new celebration can be unlocked in various game modes.

Updates to Manager Career and Clubs

For Manager Career enthusiasts, the update brings significant enhancements to youth scouting and development:

• Youth Prospects: Scout players with 90+ potential and develop two PlayStyles+ over the course of their career, providing a unique way to nurture generational talent.

Clubs players will benefit from:

• Double XP Multiplier: Earn double XP after matches, accelerating progression for Virtual Pros. Performance in matches will further boost the amount of XP gained.

New Player Star Heads

Title Update #15 also adds 27 new player star heads, improving the likeness of players across the Premier League, including stars like Rodri, Sven Botman, Pedro Porro, and Eberechi Eze.
