The video game producer has inked a three-year deal to sponsor Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage.
Starting with the 2022/23 season until the end of the 2024/25 season, EA Sports branded content will appear before and after each of the exclusive 128 Premier League matches. This deal comes after EA failed to renew their 30-year partnership with the game’s global governing body, FIFA, that will see their flagship series rebranded as EA SPORTS FC starting in the summer of 2023.
FIFA 23 Premier League ambassadors Jack Grealish, Virgil Van Dijk, Son Heung-min, Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz will be treated to unique creatives as part of their pre- and post-game viewing experience. The one of a kind broadcast will draw parallels between real-life and gameplay footage from the iconic FIFA series.
This new coverage experience will kick-off Friday, August 5th when Sky Sports broadcasts the opening fixture of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign with the match between Arsenal and Crystal Palace. This also coincides with the FIFA 23 Matchday Experience Deep Dive Trailer set to be released later today.
