Romanian Liga I to make its debut in EA Sports FIFA?

Earlier this year, LPF (the governing body that runs the Romanian football league) set up a poll on their official facebook page asking its fans to decide on which football video game they would like to see the Romanian Liga I, EA Sports FIFA or Konami PES?

The most likely reason behind this poll is that LPF received similar offers from both EA Sports and Konami for their league licence but couldn’t make a decision on which one to go for so they asked the fans to decide and the majority have opted, of course, for EA Sports FIFA.

At this point we do not know if LPF have reached an agreement with EA Sports, but if they did we can expect the league to make its debut this year in FIFA 17 or next year in FIFA 18.

Currently, Liga I features a play-off system with 14 clubs, among those clubs we can find Steaua Bucharest, Dinamo Bucharest, CFR Cluj or Astra Giurgiu.
