FIFA 16 Ultimate Team has been taken down on PS3 for maintenance earlier today after EA Sports observed some abnormalities in the FUT economy. The dev team will continue to work on this issue throughout the weekend and we’ll keep players posted via twitter on progress to bring the economy back up.
EA Sports released a small update for the FIFA 16 Companion App earlier this week that brings a “smoother football managing experience” to the users. You can download the companion app for your mobile here.
A new update for FIFA 16 Ultimate Team has been released as well recently that includes minor improvements in order to“keep you scoring like a pro”. The mobile game can be downloaded for free for iOS and Android devices.

With the first El Clasico of the season approaching, EA Sports announced that this weekend you’ll have almost double the chance to pack players from both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in FIFA 16 Ultimate Team.
On the mobile version of FIFA Ultimate Team, EA Sports decided to release all FC Barcelona and Real Madrid players in packs as green items with minor upgrades:
Beside the new green player cards, the mobile FIFA games got another set of special cards on the market called International Superstars which features Tevez, James Rodriguez, Sanchez, Willian, Sterling, Hazard, Schweinsteiger, Morata, Buffon, Griezmann, Aubameyang and Yaya Toure as teal items with minor stats upgrades.
Two new tournaments are up for the weekend in FUT 16, El Clasico and Upside Down:
