How to Experience the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and More in FC 25

European football tournaments like the UEFA Champions League and Europa League are big draws, and EA SPORTS FC 25 has options to play through these competitions in different modes.

Whether you’re looking to jump into a single knockout game or go through the full journey of a season, here’s a look at how each tournament is available in the game, including the Champions League, Europa League, and even the Women’s Champions League.

Quick Access in Kick Off Mode

Kick Off mode is the quickest way to experience big matches without committing to a full tournament. Here’s what you can jump into:

  • UEFA Champions League: Play from the League Phase, Semifinal, or Final.
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League: Semifinal and Final are available.
  • UEFA Europa League: Final match only.
  • UEFA Conference League: Final match only.
  • UEFA Super Cup: Final match only.

This is great if you just want to get a taste of the tournament without managing a whole season. It’s set up so you can pick a team and jump right into some of the most high-stakes matches.

Kick Off mode also includes official tournament branding and broadcast-style visuals, so even a quick match feels like a European night.

Full Tournaments Mode for Champions League Fans

If you’re up for the full experience of taking a club through all stages of a tournament, Tournaments Mode lets you do that for:

  • UEFA Champions League: Play the whole journey from the League Phase to the final.
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League: Start-to-finish tournament mode is also available.

Currently, the Europa League, Conference League, and Super Cup don’t have full tournament modes, so these are limited to quick final matches in Kick Off for now.

Building Legacy in Career Mode

Career Mode is where players can dive into the European competition with a full club management experience. Here, you’ll work through a whole season, with the Champions League, Europa League, or Conference League on the table if your team qualifies. With knockout stages in both the Champions League and Europa League, teams often take on a more tactical, cautious approach to avoid elimination, a shift that anyone betting on football is likely familiar with, as it demands a deeper understanding of each team’s strategy.

It’s a long-haul approach, ideal if you’re into the idea of leading a club up the ranks over time. Each tournament feels like an integrated part of the season, making every Champions League or Europa League match feel like a big moment.

This year you can also manage women’s clubs in FC 25 Career Mode so you can also lead your team to glory in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

UEFA-Themed Content in Ultimate Team

Ultimate Team brings in special content tied to the Champions League, including themed player cards and live updates based on real-world performances. Here’s some of the content you’ll see tied to UEFA events:

  • Road to the Knockouts (RTTK): Cards that get boosts if their team progresses.
  • Team of the League Phase: Players recognized for their performances in the league phase,
  • Team of the Tournament: Players recognized for standout performances.
  • Road to the Final: Dynamic cards that upgrade as teams move forward.

This keeps Ultimate Team connected with the real tournaments and gives you a way to track and benefit from how players perform in UEFA matches.

In EA SPORTS FC 25, you’ve got several ways to experience UEFA tournaments from dipping into quick matches in Kick Off or taking a club all the way in Career Mode. Ultimate Team also offers plenty of themed content, giving you options if you’re more interested in squad-building. And with both the men’s and women’s Champions League included, there’s a bit more variety than before.
